Marxelec Energy Pvt. Ltd. designs and manufactures special application capacitors including water-cooled, surge, energy-storage and import substitute capacitors from its facility in Sangli, Maharashtra.

Founded in 2018, the company carries forward four decades of capacitor-engineering discipline through founder Vinod Bolaj, with direct supplies to BARC, DRDO and RRCAT, and exports to customers across 20+ countries.

Marxelec is a special-application capacitor manufacturer based in Sangli, Maharashtra. The company supplies standard, modified-standard and custom-engineered capacitors, but every application is technically reviewed before commitment. Some requirements are served through proven capacitor designs, or custom-made capacitors which need engineering from the ground up.

Our most demanding products are water-cooled capacitors, surge capacitors, high-voltage energy-storage capacitors and related special-application capacitors where electrical duty, mechanical geometry, cooling, test requirements or operating conditions need more than standard product selection.

We build for requirements that need technical judgement, controlled manufacturing and documented testing.

FROM THE FOUNDER

A sharper focus on special-application capacitors.

My work in capacitor engineering began soon after my electrical diploma. At Shakti Capacitors, I learned the discipline from the design side. In 1994, I co-founded Magnewin Energy and led its technical and engineering functions for the next 24 years.

That period shaped the way I think about capacitors. A capacitor is not just a rating on a nameplate. Its performance depends on the duty, the dielectric system, the mechanical design, the operating temperature, the switching conditions, the installation and the way it is tested before it reaches the customer.

In 2018, I started Marxelec with a clear focus: special-application capacitors. The kind of work where the requirement must be understood before the product is offered. The kind of work where a standard selection is not enough. The kind of work where engineering judgement matters.

Starting again meant rebuilding the factory, machinery, customer base, team, supplier network, certifications and working capital. But the engineering discipline did not disappear. The knowledge, judgement, manufacturing experience and customer trust built over decades remained intact.

From the earliest days of Marxelec, customers placed their trust in the new company for demanding capacitor requirements. That trust has to be earned again with every order, every drawing, every test certificate and every despatch.

Marxelec was not created to argue with the past. It was created to bring decades of capacitor experience into sharper focus.
